As of last November we have been in the midst of a preacher search.  Our last minister, Randy Todd and his wonderful family, left for a great opportunity in Texas.  Over last two Sundays we have had tryouts with two prospective ministers.

These two weekends have been awesome.  As a church we have been in each other’s homes and fellowshipping together at the church building on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  We have been engaged with each other in ways that we haven’t been in six months.  It’s nice to rediscover that we all really like being around each other and really want to be in fulfilling Christian relationships as a family.

This attitude is displayed in the playfulness of the cleanup time when everyone in the congregation started putting their nametags on Richard R (see picture).  It was funny and to me that was a great moment to be a part of.  The little things we remember.

May God bless us.
